
This year’s AGA 2010 FALL CONFERENCE, “From Accounting to Accountability – Closing the Gap of Public
Expectations,” on November 4 at the Wyndham-Indianapolis West, promises to be as engaging as in prior years.
Presentations will provide 8 hours CPE from 8:00am to 4:30pm and will include topics of interest at the federal,
state and local levels. Some of the speakers and topics include:
• Joseph Herr, MBA, CFPIM, “Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).” {2 hours CPE}
• Dr. Larita Killian, CPA, CGFM is an assistant professor of accounting at Indiana University-Purdue
University Columbus. Topic: Special Districts Financing in Indiana… “Are Citizen’s Confused? Hoosier
Perceptions of General and Special Local Government.”
• Jacqueline Nytes, Indianapolis City Council Member, Executive Director of the Mapleton Fall Creek
Development. “City Budget Process from Legislative Perspective and Update on Indianapolis Local City
Finance Topics”
• Carol Rogers, Director of the information systems and services of the Indiana Business Research
Center and the Business Industry Data Center program, as well as serving as the Governor’s Liaison to the
Census Bureau. Topic: Census Update 2010; and Using Statistics in Public Reporting
• Emily Wale, Senior Manager Clifton Gunderson. “Grant Management and Sub Recipient Monitoring.”
